Wool Workshop

Prairie Fibreshed is pleased to host Lisa Surber for a hands-on workshop on wool quality improvement & grading and classing wool. 

 Topics covered in the workshop include :

  • Wool science & quality
  • Wool classing and grading
  • Using wool testing technology to improve wool clip
  • Factors influencing wool price
  • Adding value to your wool

There will be an opportunity to examine a number of fleeces including various breeds and levels of quality. We hope to offer a shearing and skirting demonstration on Sunday afternoon, but this will be weather dependant.

Register: $125 (includes coffee/tea and lunch) 

When: February 11 & 12, 2023

Saturday 8:30am-4pm

Sunday 8:30am-1pm & Shearing and Skirting 1pm-4pm

Where: Albert Community Centre 610 Clarence Ave. S. Saskatoon
